1. The main objective of Eka is ‘inclusion’. The institute will work towards making the society, in general, sensitive towards inclusion by showcasing the ability and talent of PwD. Eka will work towards training and highlighting the employability qualities of PwD in various fields.
  2. Eka’s main objective will be to work with PwD and find a vocation that suits their personality trait, interest and aptitude. Eka will look at all sectors for possible employment, if not available, it will create employment opportunities by way of Franchise/ joint venture and partnering with other small scale enterprises.
  3. The organisation / enterprise might be involved by either directly training the PwD & / or by providing employment. The skill set required for the employment will be then trained or fine tuned by Eka, however the training of the skills will depend on the aptitude and the interest of the PwD.
  4. Other than working with industry, organisation or enterprises, Eka will also cater to the mental well-being of families of PwD by counselling and guiding them on a regular basis for support required such as emotional, mental, financial (if possible).
  5. Eka will join hands with various centers / NGO’s working with PwD to ensure all the dots are connected regarding vocation. Eka’s purpose is to direct interested students to already existing centers for specific skill set development if unavailable at Eka.
  6. To create a resource bank of vocational training opportunities & of vocational opportunities and make the same available as well as accessible to families with special needs.
  7. To ‘set examples and models’ on
    • how to develop vocational opportunities for PwD and
    • to cause inclusion at workplaces and society in general

Motto: Find a way or make a way.
