Our Story

Two people with similar ideology and dream came together to start a beautiful journey of ONE reality called Eka. Although the journey started as being a vocational training center for adolescents with special needs, due to the demands of parents the program then extended to NIOS (10th and 12th) as well academic and functional level for children above 6yrs. The “Never say Never” attitude of the team led to Eka becoming an education center where the students are exposed to curricular, co-curricular, leadership qualities, public speaking skills , and enthusiastic participants across various fields. Eka dreams of creating space for all special needs to explore their creative spirit and be part of the world with no barriers.

About Us

It has been only two months since my son has joined Eka and we have seen a tremendous improvement in him. He likes to go to Eka. We thank Shanti and Sharmila mam and the entire Eka team for the wonderful job they are doing in bringing about the holistic development of the students. A wonderful initiative by two passionate people and special educators Santhi and Sharmila, Eka Educational and Charitable Trust works with special-needs and underprivileged young adults by providing skill-based training and creating job opportunities for them. The courses are amazing and customized to the needs of special kids. Different extracurricular activities conducted at Eka keep students engaged and active.
